The adorable, and very endangered Vancouver Island Marmot...There are currently less than 30 living in the wild! In fact, it may be the rarest mammal in the world, with a total population of fewer than 100 animals. Fortunately, there is a recovery and captive program in place to try and help save this furry darling from extinction.
