A Rainforest Read

The Great Bear Rainforest: Canada's Forgotten Coast by Ian McAllister and Karen McAllister (locals to Vancouver Island).
On Canada's West Coast there lies the largest tract of intact temperate rainforest left in the world. This is The Great Bear Rainforest. Here resides the largest grizzly bears on the planet, unique species of coastal wolves, and the rare all-white spirit bear. But, here in this precious eco-system lies a grave threat, that of complete devastion and eradication... by clear cut logging and urbanization.

This books has over 150 pages of stunning full-colour photographs. I guarantee after perusing the pages, no one will look at the Northern British Columbia quite the same.
Tis raw natural wonder at our doorstep... give the gift of conservation. One of my all-time favourite books...
