I think they also have cork floors? Love that post...very fun, especially the cork car. Now if only I could drink enough wine to make one!
Your blog is amazing , thank you very much for your lovely comment . Mad about cork, well my mum always put a coin inside the champagne cork. But i don't it could drink all that wine ...........! Just to collect the cork.LOL.

Guess I should have been keeping all those corks over the years.Chardonay drinker that i am I'm pretty sure i could have made at least a chair by now. great post. k
I thought it was about a time for someone to come up with clever ideas - I was so ready to throw all mine away. Corks, that is, not ideas. Not so sure anymore...

Wow, cudos on the coolest cork finds I have ever seen. I like the lamp, and the wall hanging.
This is too serendipitous! After opening a bottle of wine last night, I stood holding the cork, trying to brainstorm ways that I could reuse it. What a perfect post!
great collection of photos!
you have an innate ability to find the coolest stuff! i thoroughly enjoy your blog!!

I should email you a photo of the cork backboard I made for my dartboard.

Thanks so much for all the great ideas! I have a container that I've been filling up with corks for a while...I've been thinking of a corkboard or a trivet, but now I have some more options to consider!
Came here due to a post over at BoingBoing,Fantastimundo!
Wow! Finally, something to do with all these corks. Besides the corks we "earn" ourselves, everyone in our family gives us corks. We have drawfuls and bagfuls and potfuls...
Cool ideas! Do you know where I can find a wine bar like the one in the picture? Thanks.
Wow, these are fantastic; I am so doing that baseboard!!!
Everything is wonderful!
Greats ideas!
Great ideas...but has anyone read 'Cork Boat' - 165,321 corks =1 boat. John Pollack built it from collected & donated corks & sailed down the Douro River in Portugal...now THAT'S a project.
oohlala! Just found this post while looking for examples of walls done with corks. Have been schlepping around an extensive cork collection for years and am now suitably inspired to proceed with creating something.
Thanks!
