Reconfigurable Magnetic Light

Hmmm... I was perusing Generate for some great portable ideas, and I came across this fabulous design! Elisabeth Hertzfeld is best known for her modular Remake Light Classic sculptures, but I adore this magnetic wall arrangment. These luminescent block magnets are a series of reconfigurable forms that can be modified to create a multitude of light designs. The squares attach magnetically to each other to design different lines and forms, and the magnets hold the blocks firmly against one another without the need to adhere all of them to the wall. Removable coloured plates are available to change up the colour palette. Super cool portable design -- yet another renter's pot of gold!
