Ornate Old World Charm

Try as I might, I just can't deviate from the ornate...
Stunningly sumptuous and élégant images via Elle Decor of the Bel Air remodeled home of designer Michael S. Smith, renovated in partnership with Oscar Shamamian of Ferguson & Shamamian Architects in New York. When someone says Bel Air, I just can't help but think of quirky duo Will and Carlton in the 90's sitcom Fresh Prince (sorry, but it's true!). But, this palace is not fictitional by any means!
Inspired by England’s greatest and most prolific architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, Smith's home is oozing with romanticism and Old World charm. Richly decorated with antiques dating back to the 17th century, this estate is opulence defined. Tis fit for a *king*!
