A Whale of a Table

The intriguing Whale Tail Desk created by Ontario-based designer John Wiggers of Wiggers Custom Furniture. This design was inspired by the form of the rare North Atlantic Right Whale as it breeches in preparation for a deep dive. Black cut Macassar Ebony veneer in a high gloss finish adds to the dramatic and chic look of the piece. The cantilevered design of the desk is rigid and stable as the pedestal can be bolted to the floor. Wire management is also available my means of a vertebrae channel running through the center of the desk pedestal... as rare and wonderful as the Right Whale itself.
