At One

I received this amazing Deer in the Yard email from my dear mother (pardon the pun)... and it has totally made my day!

What remarkable animal friends we have! So touching is Mother Nature... Richard Rasa and Marlis Jermutus live in a house that was built many, many years ago on the deer's natural habitat in a remote rural area of the Mt. Shasta region of California. Two different kinds share the same land, and so they have learned how to co-exist in a peaceful manner. Ah, to just sit quietly on the grass and relish their majestic presence...

Our earth is so full of beauty, grace and soul... how meaningful it is to be at one with nature and be touched by it. We are all part of the fabric of spiritual connectiveness... and so it makes me wonder how many animals would be so loving to us if only we treated them with the same love, care and respect. Oh, to be at one...

The Pelorian site also has a link to Starseed Gallery, a showcase of the art work by Marlis Jermutus. Not only is she a compassionate animal lover, but she is an exceptionally deep and spiritual artist. Her mixed media and abstract paintings reflect "a caligraphy of the heart and mind united, drawn in a language of color and form that easily expresses both chaos and geometry." Wow, what a connection...

That's amazing!

We have whitetail on the other side of our fence all the time. (And in our yard at night too - they think I don't know :-)

We love watching them.
