Simple Seasonal Centrepieces

Tis the one season of the year when we can lay aside all gnawing worry,
indulge in sentiment without censure,
assume the carefree faith of childhood, and just plain "have fun."
Whether they call it Yuletide, Noel, Weinachten, or Christmas,
people around the earth thirst for its refreshment
as the desert traveller for the oasis. ~D.D. Monroe

Specially from BHG: Some super smart, simple and sophisticated centrepiece ideas to spruce up this sentimental season (say that 6 times super speedy!).. make it special!

Wrap gold craft ribbon around plain glasses and use as votive or tealight candle holders... a grouping of glowing candles always looks elegant.

Have fun expressing yourself with words spelled from the letters of a scrabble set! Can you spell f-u-n.. and add a k-y to that!

Old Christmas bulbs placed in a glass vase with a candle makes for a bright and colourful display. Brilliant way to recycle and re-use those out-dated non-LED lights!

Extra ornaments kicking around? Scoot over to yer kitchen and place one or two in glasses of different shapes and sizes. Adds visual interest, and takes virtually no thought process to put together! I fancy that...

Merry Centrepieces! (:

I like the ornaments in the glasses and the multi-color old lights centerpiece too.

Isn't it amazing how easy it can be to put together a decorative display?
A little imagination and open-mindedness and the world is like a blank canvas awaiting a creative hand...
