A Splash of Colour Inspiration
I love this space designed by "Hall of Famer" Joe D’Urso for stylist Lori Goldstein's New York loft.... a colourful and inviting bathroom retreat from the "Lofty Ambition" archive of ElleDecor.
Pardon the pun, but I love a *splash* of colour in the bathroom. It is a refreshing alternative to the trend of using a palette of warm neutral to create a spa-like design.
Colour adds zip, and pizazz, and fun... and can be inviting and soothing all at the same time. This is a great space to have all that...
The soft, oval curves of the Spoon washbasin by Agape rests atop a green onyx counter in this master bath; the molded-resin chair is by Gaetano Pesce, and the Classic Sky Love rug is by Robert Indiana -- whom I adore as his work often consists of bold, simple, iconic images and short words like "EAT", "HUG", and "LOVE".
Kinda like "KISS"... and the acronym: "keep it stylishly simple".. with spots of colour!
And this space is just that... bold, fresh, modern, and refined. Tres stylish!
