Painting by Rob Elphinstone

Our provincial government is back in session after taking many, many months off of "work" or whatever you may call it... (what DO they do behind closed doors anyways, other than bicker back and forth, and rudely talk over each other? I think a bill in social etiquette should be passed...!). I love how this painting delightfully and comically captures the essence of what the "house of business" evokes...
Local expressionist artist Rob Elphinstone specializes in capturing the beauty of the west coast of British Columbia through his use of "actualism" art and manipulation of sense awareness.
Textured, glorious, and an absolute surreal depiction of our Legislative Buildings here in the Capital City... tres cool, and tres trippy.
