Milk Bottle Lamp

I find it interesting to look at regular everyday items and see a different purpose other than what they are intended for. Take milk for example. It appears to be a privilege these days to find glass bottled milk (I have even heard the milk tastes *better* in this type of container). But there is a hidden bonus... when you are finished, you are left with a beautiful glass bottle with heaps of potential.

Take this for example... Designer Tejo Remi for Droog Design '98 created this sandblasted glass milk bottle light fixture. Essentially, it is an empty glass bottle with a bulb inside hanging from a chrome top. Available at Plushpod.
Innovative and ingenius. Wonder how hard that would be to make my own. Hmmmm... got milk? Apparently it does a designer good...
